The Buffet B12 clarinets are made from ABS resin with an appearance and sound similar to that of genuine grenadilla wood. These B12 models are lightweight, strong and easy to clean - perfect for even very young players.
The Buffet B12, with plastic body rings, straight keywork a very attractive and modern design. The body is stained and buffed to give the appearance of wood. The nickel silver keywork is cold forged and induction soldered, providing greater stability, precision and quality. These are then silver plated, one of the few student clarinets with silver plating instead of nickel plating.
All Buffet models in the student range are equipped with an adjustable thumb rest for ease of locating the most comfortable thumb position and a neck strap ring to reduce weight on hands when using a neck strap.
